This museum offers an in-depth look at more than 100 years of Central Arizona's history. It also provides a range of educational programs and live performances for people of all ages.

The Phoenix Museum of Art and the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos (New Mexico) have joined forces to present an exhibition on William Herbert “Buck” Dunton, founder of the Taos Society of Artists. Admission is free for museum members, youth ages 5 and younger, and students at Maricopa County community colleges. The Heard Museum is another popular destination. This museum includes a main building and two smaller outposts that offer an impressive collection of Arizona American Indian art, artifacts, crafts, photographs, and other cultural and historical exhibits.

It also features the world's only tactile display of Russian sturgeons, two tactile stingray displays, and a tactile tidal pool (some tactile exhibits may be temporarily closed). Finally, visitors can take advantage of reduced tickets to exhibitions at the Angela and Leonard Singer Foundation for the Performing Arts.

Thanks to the collaboration between SRP and the support from this foundation, visitors can enjoy reduced tickets on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 21:00.
